So, I got an Xbox 360 because I'm a loser like that, right, and for the past two weeks pretty much the only game I've played is my Sonic the Hedgehog collection from the Sega Genesis for the Xbox. (early-mid '90s, anyone?). Apparently, I had super-human video gaming powers as a little kid cos I can't get past the marble hill zone of sonic 1, the hydrolic zone of sonic 3. I gave up on Sonic 2 after losing a life in the first 3 seconds.

I'm not quite sure why I made "Sonic the Hedgehog" spiffy and blue, but you all must learn to accept it even despite its differences.

I've played those games, actually. Sonic 3 is awesome beyond all words. I actually managed to beat it with everyone except sonic, who I got to the last boss with. Anyone ever notice how worthless sonic actually is? He's got almost zero special abilities unless you get a shield!

I love Sonic 3 - it was the first one i ever played; although the first one I ever saw was my dad playing Sonic 1, when you couldnt even do Spin Dash! Thats crazy. Sonic sucks, yeah. But his fireball thing with the fire shield is great. but like... It needs to be like if you push jump twice instead of doing that little split-second-worthless-shield, it like zooms you forward really fast at the nearest enemy or something like that

What's the point of when you press jump twice, a little thing appears around Sonic for like.. half a second? I think in the old Sega Genesis's versions instruction manual it said it gave you a second of invincibility or something, but like, there's no possible way that's useful more than like maybe once every fifty years. I've never noticed that it does anything.

ah, i was recently playing these old sonic games on a friends xbox, and i dare say that they are my favourite gmaes in the vorld.. next to Merlins Revenge, that is.
and i prefer knuckles to the others, cause he can glide and stuff.
